Embraer in 2016: Aircraft deliveries were in line with estimates

2016 was a good year for the Brazilian manufacturer of civil aircraft and business jets. Embraer reported figures according to estimates. Delivered 225 aircraft to 2016: 108 commercial aircraft and 117 business jets.

Embraer delivered 225 aircraft

These figures are aligned according to estimates: between 105 and 110 commercial aircraft and between 100 and 125 business jets. Most of the aircraft delivered in 2016 were of the type Embraer E175, 90 in number.

At the end of 2016, Embraer had outstanding orders for 450 of commercial aircraft, valued at 19.6 billion dollars.

2016 also meant the year in which Embraer introduced the first Embraer E190-E2, which opens a new era in the aircraft construction industry on the 70 - 130 segment.
