Etihad Airways resumes flights to Doha after a 3.5-year hiatus
As of February 15, 2021, Etihad Airways will resume passenger flights between Abu Dhabi and Doha, subject to government approval. It will fly daily with Airbus A320 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
The announcement comes days after Saudi Arabia reopened airspace and borders for Qatar, and diplomatic relations in the Middle East are beginning to be restored.
In these turbulent and uncertain times due to the pandemic, Etihad is the only airline in the world that requires all its passengers to take a negative PCR test before departure and on arrival in Abu Dhabi.
Those traveling on Etihad Airways flights will be required to report a negative COVID-19 PCR test no later than 96 hours before leaving Abu Dhabi or the airport of departure if traveling from other cities via Abu Dhabi.
