During this difficult time, many passengers want, above all, to travel safely. I want the aircraft to be sanitized and there to be the possibility of distancing oneself from other passengers. This was observed in surveys of passengers traveling on Lufthansa Group aircraft or through online surveys.
Eurowings has responded to these customer wishes through improved service on board the airline's aircraft. From now on, passengers can book the middle seat online, on all Eurowings flights, for only 10 euros (reduced from 18 euros).
All reserved seats in the middle will be marked with a cover on the headrests with the inscription "Reserved to stay free".
Guests also have flexible booking options up to 40 minutes before departure. The free seat in the middle can also be booked through the Call Center or directly at the check-in counter before departure. The offer is available to all customers, but only if there are vacancies on that flight.
