Iasi Airport completes the second largest terminal in Romania

Iasi Airport, the strongest airport in the North-East region, respects its commitment to the people of Iași and all the residents of the area, completing this year a new terminal, the second largest in the country. A state-of-the-art terminal that will increase the processing capacity to an impressive number of 3,5 million passengers annually and that will improve the travel experience for all those who will choose the services of the Iasi airport.

The future terminal T4 has a developed area of ​​over 31 thousand square meters and three levels (basement, ground floor, first floor). With modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities and scanning equipment, and a wide range of services, Iași Airport promises to be extremely attractive for airlines and passengers alike.

In the new terminal that will serve international flights, there will be 20 check-in desks, eight self-check-in systems, five security control filters + 1 VIP, three Arrivals gates, seven Departures boarding gates, three of which are equipped with airbridges s, a VIP Lounge and a Business Lounge.
The T4 terminal project is the most complex development project ever implemented by Iasi Airport. 

The total value of the development and modernization project of IASI Airport is 80 million euros, of which 85% represent EU funds, 13% is the contribution from the state budget, and 2% the contribution of the Airport.
