On Monday, 2 March 2015, at 10.00, marks the commencement of the construction work for the new passenger terminal of Iasi International Airport.
It will have 3600 sqm, 6 check-in offices and a processing capacity of 320 of passengers per hour. T3 will be released for use in August 2015.
As with other important moments in the continuous ascending course of Iasi Airport, members of the Iasi community are invited to attend personally the "first shovel" dug at the foundation of the new terminal.

We remind that the new terminal represents the last stage of the project "Development and Modernization of Iasi International Airport"Financed by the European Commission and which provided for the design and execution of the works in order to achieve the airport movement surfaces related to a new runway with the length of 2.400 meters: the take-off runway, the runway, the marking system, the sewerage for rainwater, the extension of the platform and the perimeter road, the construction of a new terminal (T3).
