Jorge Manalang is the hero of Chicago / The one who managed to put the machine out of control

The scene was filmed by the passengers at the airport, and the videos were immediately viralised. The captured images show how the machine spins in a circle with considerable speed, approaching vertiginously with an ERJ140 Embraer.

In the end, it all ended well. The machine was grounded by Jorge Manalang, a ramp instructor at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. At a key moment, he got into a pushback car and managed to overturn the drink machine.

He is considered the hero of Chicago because, thanks to him, no one was injured and no material damage was done. If he did not intervene in time, the machine would have hit the plane full of passengers and there would have been material damage and even injuries.

Jorge Manalang was the right man at the right place and, through his action, managed to prevent a tragic situation.
