After a break of 4 years and on the occasion of the celebration of 110 years of military aeronautics, the Romanian Army organizes the Day of Open Doors at the 90 Air Transport Base Otopeni. The event will take place on September 9, between 08:30 and 16:00, at the 90 Otopeni Air Base.
The organizers have prepared numerous surprises for those who will be present. Among them are flights with C-27J Spartan, IAR-330 Medevac, F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. On the ground, spectators will be able to see and admire aviation, air defense and radar technology, C-27J Spartan aircraft, IAR-330 Medevac, F-16 Fighting Falcon, HAWK anti-aircraft system and TPS-79R radar.
Stands with equipment from other categories of the Romanian Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also be organized. Base 90 Air Transport Otopeni there is also a contest going on until Friday, September 8. This competition consists of a flight with the IAR-330 Helicopter.
The Romanian Air Force promises us other surprises during the event.
