RYANAIR reopens the Copenhagen base in Q4 2023!

Ryanair has announced that it will reopen its Copenhagen base from December 2023, allocating two aircraft. Ryanair is already the no. 3 in Copenhagen, operating 20 routes and carrying 2,3 million passengers annually to/from Copenhagen. 

This new base of 2 aircraft will enable Ryanair to offer unbeatable low fares to Danish citizens/visitors wishing to travel to/from Copenhagen. This will be Ryanair's second base in Denmark, after Billund. Ryanair's 2023-2024 winter schedule to/from Copenhagen offers 24 routes, with 4 new destinations: Dusseldorf, Faro, Paris and Warsaw.

In 2023 – 2024, Ryanair expects to carry 184 million passengers, up 24% from the pre-COVID period. In Denmark, Ryanair has 2 aircraft based at Billund and also offers flights to 3 other Danish airports, Aalborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen. 

The new base consisting of 2 modern, state-of-the-art aircraft will allow Ryanair to offer low fare competition and multiple travel options to/from Copenhagen. Ryanair's new base in Copenhagen fully complies with Danish labor law and the 100 jobs created will have duties and taxes paid in Denmark.
