On March 24, 2021, RYANAIR announced the summer operational program for the United Kingdom. It includes fish 2300 of weekly flights pe 480 of routeincluding 26 new routes to popular destinations in France, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
The restrictive measures applied by the British authorities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic have paid off. The number of new cases of COVID-19 is declining. At the same time, the vaccination campaign led to the immunization of millions of citizens. Under these conditions, more and more European countries are opening their borders to British tourists. They can book their summer vacation, which can be scheduled until October 2021.
In the 2021 summer season, RYANAIR focused on flights to holiday destinations, such as Corfu, Santorini, Menorca, Ibiza, Faro and the Canary Islands, but also to top destinations in Europe, such as Barcelona, Lisbon, Naples, Rome and Venice.
Among the new routes announced, we find: Birmingham - Poznan (2 weekly flights, from July 3); Newcastle - Chania (2 weekly flights, from July 2021).
