"As ground handling staff strikes are planned throughout Italy on 15 July, Wizz Air wishes to inform that journey times to airports, check-in and security checks may take longer than usual.
We strongly advise passengers to plan accordingly and allow sufficient time to arrive at the airport and complete all necessary formalities at the check-in desk, security control and boarding gate. Even though strikes are beyond our control, Wizz Air does everything possible to minimize disruption. However, the airline is unfortunately forced to cancel a number of flights to and from Italy on this day, which will not be handled by suppliers. Wizz Air offers affected passengers the option of a refund or rescheduling.
If a passenger has booked their ticket through an agency/third party, we recommend that they contact the agent to be informed in a timely manner of the status of their flight. We also recommend passengers to check the Flight Status function on our website or in the Wizz Air app to check the flight status before traveling to the airport."
