Booking.com study: Recommended destinations for 2023!

2023 is just around the corner and it's a great time to plan our future travels. Recent global events do not seem to have dampened the wanderlust and desire to discover new destinations. Based on a Booking.com study, we share with you the most popular destinations for 2023.

According to the study, 55% of respondents want to have an "off-grid" vacation, 44% will focus on mental health and mindfulness during the trip. Related to the mode of information, 43% of travelers will use virtual reality for inspiration. Below are some destinations recommended by Booking based on the study.

The metropolis of São Paulo is home to 20 million locals known as "paulistanos". The concrete jungle boasts an explosive nightlife scene, with an array of underground clubs – perfect for the three-quarters (72%) of those open to 'nightlife-centric holidays' in 2023.

With one in five travelers (21%) saying the main thing they want from a trip in 2023 is to relax on a sunny beach, the western Montenegrin city of Budva is one of the top destinations to visit in Europe this year .
