The European Commission has ruled that Blue Air's restructuring plan, which aims to restore the airline's long-term viability, is incompatible with EU state aid rules. The commission ordered Romania to recover approximately 33,84 million euros (163,8 million lei) of illegal state aid granted to the Blue Air company.

The airline, which has been facing financial difficulties since 2019, received state aid to overcome the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and a rescue loan. The Commission considered the restructuring plan inadequate and unrealistic, as demonstrated by Blue Air's inability to sustain operations and the subsequent application for insolvency proceedings. Romania must now recover the illegal state aid, including interest, according to EU state aid rules.

The question is: "From whom will he recover this money?" :)!
