In winter and blizzard conditions, the airport activities also suffer. Delays occur because the tracks and treads must be permanently cleared. The planes must be defrosted. Ground activities are hampered by strong winds and heavy snow. Keep in mind that luggage is handled by people, as are other ground services by people. No supermen have been hired yet.

It is true that delays can be between 30 minutes and up to 2-3 hours and more. For a passenger it is very difficult to spend so many hours in the airport or on the plane, waiting etc. But keep in mind that it is winter and blizzard. Before venturing through the shuttle to the airport, check your flight status directly at the airline or airport.

We try to follow the activity of other airports in the country and come back with information.
