On the occasion of Women's Day, Wizz Air is proud to announce a special initiative to highlight the opportunities available to women within the airline. With a commitment to promoting gender diversity and encouraging women in aviation, the airline is delighted to show its commitment with a number of flights on its network operated exclusively by women.

Underlining the continued efforts to provide career opportunities for women, Wizz Air introduced the "She Can Fly" program within the Wizz Air Pilot Academy to inspire and support women on their journey to become pilots, creating an opportunity for career development and success.

It is worth noting that Wizz Air is actively working to increase the representation of women in aviation, and its ambitious target reflects its commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the company, with 65% female cabin crew and 5% women in pilot positions throughout its network. At the same time, Wizz Air aims to reach a percentage of 7% women in the company's flight crew.

Wizz Air flights operated with all-female crews took place in five countries from the airline's network and include the routes: Rome Fiumicino – Malaga, Skopje – Hamburg, Warsaw – Valencia, Bucharest – Paris Beauvais and Budapest – London Luton.

“We believe in removing barriers and creating a more inclusive environment for women in aviation. This Women's Day initiative is a testament to our dedication to encouraging and supporting women within our company and in the aviation industry in general", said Valeria Bragarenco, Corporate Communication Manager at Wizz Air.

Join us as we reach new heights, celebrating Women's Day and promoting the incredible women who contribute to Wizz Air's success.
