A United Airlines Boeing 777-200ER "lost" a wheel shortly after takeoff!
A United Airlines Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, which had taken off for Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka, was forced to divert to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after one of the wheels detached from the left main spar.
Flight UA35 took off from San Francisco (SFO) at 10:53 local time on March 7, 2024. Shortly after takeoff, one of the six main gear wheels broke loose and fell into a parking lot, damaging the cars from the ground
