The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and the Omani Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, in collaboration with the OMRAN Group, have launched the “See Double” campaign – their first joint promotional campaign that aims to entice visitors to explore BOTH Breed Al Khaimah – The Emirate of Nature, as well Musandam Governorate, in Oman.

The summer campaign, linking the two destinations, encourages travelers to enjoy fun, adventure and beauty, creating double the amount of memories. An additional aspect worth mentioning is that the promotion includes the "Kids Go Free" offer, which is available at many hotels and attractions in Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam.

The "See Double" campaign was officially announced at the International Tourism Fair in Berlin (ITB Berlin), which takes place from March 5-7. The launch follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in November 2023 to carry out cross marketing and tourism promotion initiatives to boost international tourism in Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam Governorate.

See double

"See Double" makes a compelling case for how travelers can maximize their experience by visiting two remarkable destinations just 90 minutes apart. The shared natural beauty of the majestic Hajar Mountains, as well as a rich history and interconnected cultural heritage promise to enthrall visitors this summer.

By combining destinations, visitors will have the opportunity to experience double, exploring unforgettable attractions such as:

  • 64km of stunning coastline in Ras Al Khaimah and dolphin watching in the Arabian Gulf in Musandam
  • Jais Flight, the world's longest zipline on Jebel Jais mountain, and Musandam Zipline, the longest zipline over water
  • Suwaidi Pearls in Ras Al Khaimah – the only working pearl farm in the region – and a traditional boat cruise called dhow in Musandam, which offers views of the famous "desert fjords"
  • Dhayah Fort and Khasab Fort – military forts dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries respectively
  • Hiking Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE, and a safari in the Hajar Mountains of Oman
  • Thrilling bob ride Jais Sledder on Jebel Jais, with free tickets for children aged 12 and under with every adult ticket purchased this summer.

The campaign is valid from June 15 to September 15 and will have the "Kids Stay Free" promotion active at most hotels and resorts in Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam.

Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam Governorate boast outstanding natural resources, outstanding historical attractions, a rich cultural offering and outdoor adventure experiences.
