This week, Airbus will reach a big milestone. 44 years after the first flight operated by an Airbus aircraft, the European manufacturer will deliver the plane number 10. An image posted by Airbus shows that the lucky aircraft will be delivered to Singapore Airlines.

The airplane Airbus A350-900 (9V-SMF) will be the 7 in the fleet Singapore Airlines, but it will come with an anniversary livery ”10,000th airbus aircraft". It is configured in 3 classes: 42 of seats in Business Class, 24 of seats in Premium Economy and 187 in Economy.
By the end of September, Airbus had delivered 9982 aircraft. If we analyze according to the families of airplanes, airbus had delivered: 816 A300 / A310 aircraft (243 still in operational service); 7256 of aircraft delivered from the Airbus A320 family (6947 still in operational service); of the A330 family, Airbus delivered 1297 aircraft (1271 airplanes are still flying); the A340 model proved to be unsuccessful, over the years Airbus only delivered 377 units, and in flight there are 294 of airplanes; A350 recently joined the operational service and 41 were delivered by aircraft; star A380 was delivered to 195 by units.
That said, we are looking forward to Friday to officially celebrate the delivery of the Airbus 10 000 number.
