In Romania, the 3rd stage of anti-COVID vaccination is started for everyone. Here's how to schedule a vaccination!

Starting today, March 15, 2021, at 09:00, in Romania, the start of stage 3 of anti-COVID vaccination, ie for everyone. Here's how to schedule a vaccination! Vaccines can also be scheduled for minors over 15 years of age, but only in the centers BioNTech / Pfizer.

We inform you that, on the morning of March 15, 2021, starting with 09:00, the waiting lists by counties will be opened successively, according to the following schedule:

We also inform you that there may be maintenance periods in order to optimize the application. During these periods, the application may run late.

In stage 3 of covid vaccination it will be possible to vaccinate:

  • (i) workers in the extractive industry;
  • (ii) workers in the manufacturing industry;
  • (iii) hotel and restaurant workers;
  • (iv) workers in the field of body maintenance, hairdressing and other beauty activities;
  • (v) workers in the field of entertainment, cultural and recreational activities;
  • (vi) workers in the financial, banking and insurance systems, in particular those who have direct contacts with the public and those who provide essential payment, account management and investment services and operate national critical infrastructures, as well as critical support staff of them;
  • (vii) persons accommodated in the regional procedures and accommodation centers of asylum seekers subordinated to the General Inspectorate for Immigration;
  • (viii) persons accommodated in the accommodation centers for aliens taken into public custody under the General Inspectorate for Immigration;
  • (ix) persons deprived of their liberty;
  • (x) persons providing communications infrastructure;
  • (xi) museum and public collection workers;
  • (xii) library workers;
  • (xiii) cashiers and other workers in grocery stores.

Also in stage 3, the entire adult population can be programmed and vaccinated, which is included in other categories than those provided in stages 1 and 2. Even minors can be vaccinated, depending on the epidemiological evolution and the characteristics of the vaccines approved for use in persons under 18 years of age.

In Romania and at European level, 4 anti-COVID vaccines have been authorized so far: BioNTech / Pfizer (reminder at 21 days), Modern (reminder at 28 days), astraZenca (recall at 56 days) and Johnson & Johnson (single dose).

Those interested can schedule on the waiting lists, accessing the official platform https://vaccinare-covid.gov.ro/platforma-programare/ or at 0214144425. Anyone over the age of 65 or without a family doctor can be scheduled through the Call Center. People under the age of 65, who have chronic illnesses, cannot make an appointment by phone. Know that you can find a free place anywhere, even in a county other than the one of residence.

That being said, good luck with the vaccination. CAREFUL!!! The vaccine is not mandatory. We have scheduled vaccinations for our health, for those around us, but also to speed up the return to normal life of travelers :). You will do what you want, but also do it based on the information obtained.
