Starting July 2, 2021, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will operate two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays, on the route Abu Dhabi - Santorini, one of the the most beautiful islands in Greece. Rates will start at 179 AED / segment. Tickets can be booked on the site wizzair.com (which also has a booking site in Arabic), but also from the airline's mobile application.

As Greece and the United Arab Emirates opened a travel corridor in May, vaccinated travelers can visit the attractive island of the Aegean Sea without being quarantined. It also applies to those traveling from Greece to the United Arab Emirates.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is currently flying on the route Abu Dhabi - Athens, and from July 1 it will fly to Thessaloniki.

Passengers from the United Arab Emirates can fly to Greece without having to be quarantined upon arrival in the country. They must provide a negative PCR test performed up to 72 hours before arrival or hold a vaccination certificate in English issued by a public authority. Children aged 5 and under are exempt. Vaccination must be completed at least 14 days before arrival in Greece. The certificate must include the full name of the passenger, the type of vaccine, the number of doses taken and the dates.

Upon return to Abu Dhabi, UAE residents and citizens who have been vaccinated for at least 28 days and received a vaccination report on the Alhosn application will be able to fly to the United Arab Emirates from Greece without having to comply with quarantine restrictions. . Passengers will be required to take a negative PCR test done up to 72 hours before departure, along with another PCR test upon arrival in the UAE and another on the sixth day after arrival. Children at least 12 years old are exempt.

Passengers are asked to comply with the physical deterrence measures introduced by local health authorities and are encouraged to make all online pre-flight purchases (luggage, Wizz priority, fast security track) to minimize physical contact at the airport.
